The importance of Chinese art for our lifestyle

The Chinese art culture is making its impressions since last 6000 years across the globe.
The Chinese artwork is very much old; we can say that the Chinese carving evolved simultaneously with the evolution of the Chinese writings. The Chinese writings is nothing but the representation of the small picture in the form of the letters, hence there is no doubt the Chinese skill is much older than any other art. In fact the Chinese language is one of the good examples of the Chinese artistic creation; the complex form of the Chinese language is the one kind which contains most of the pictorial descriptions in its letters. If we talk about the types of Chinese artwork, we will get to see through various types but there are some types which are most known to everybody. No doubt when we talk about the art, the paintings are the one which are noticed first and after that the utensils, the articles made by artists.

As a matter of fact the Chinese artworks are composed of a lot of traditional things. Still in the china the people use the paint brush made by the hairs of goat or any other hairy animal. They believe that the natural and herbal colours make the Chinese artistry to look more attractive than any other material used for them. From the ancient literature of the china it has made clear that Chinese art is well nourished by the paintings and the calligraphy. The calligraphy is considered to be the starting point of the Chinese art creation. Hence we can say that the Chinese calligraphy is the initial Chinese art. The Chinese calligraphy is more than 6000 years old is still hung over the walls of the museum of the Chinese capital Beijing, this facts makes more stronger point about the old age of the Chinese artwork.

Some people like the art for just making their mental mood enhanced and nourished but the Chinese artistry was one of the functional as well as a nourished art. The Chinese scrolls are the best example of it. The Chinese  fine art of the scrolls was so much good and beautiful that people used to make it for the communication as well as for the information transfer, such a nice use of the art makes the Chinese artist much intelligent than any other.

The Chinese scrolls used to be come in various types, for example it was in the form of vertical scrolls, horizontal scrolls, and the big wall sized scrolls or the handy sized scrolls. The horizontal sized scroll was much more popular type of scroll because it was handy as well the person was able to see the information very easily in a horizontal direction. We can compare the handy sized Chinese scroll with today’s newspaper.

The only difference between the Chinese scroll and today’s newspaper is that the Chinese artists used to make the scrolls on the piece of the silk cloth. The use of the silk cloth also gave a great contribution in the nourishment of the Chinese artistry. That’s why the silk is also a major part of the Chinese fine art. No doubt the Chinese artwork is well vast but we can’t define in a nutshell, the question “What is Chinese art?” will need a lot of explanations before giving a straight answer.
